We last heard about Assassin’s Creed III: Liberation towards the end of 2012, but the word around is that Ubisoft revealed that an HD version of the game is in the making and would be coming to PS3, Xbox 360, and PC. And we now know, well at least for PS3, when it will happen.
Momchil Valentinov Gindyanov, Ubisoft Sofia’s Producer revealed on the PlayStation Blog that Assassin’s Creed Liberation HD will be coming to the PlayStation Network as a digital download on the 14th of January 2014 in North America. And will go on to hit Europe on the 15th of January. However, no word yet on the 360 or PC.
From what we hear, Liberation HD will notably improve on the Vita experience. “Our objective was simple,” Gindyanov mentioned, “[to] improve upon what worked on the Vita and adapt the gameplay and missions to be the most fun and enjoyable they could be. As a result, each mission has been reworked to improve its pacing, and the challenge it poses to the player.”
The game will also include 15 new missions exclusive to the HD version.
