The trials for the beta version of the game opened up to Xbox One players on February 15 before coming to PC, and had supposedly reached this milestone on February 19.
Respawn engineer Jon Shiring said that the beta was quite crucial for field-testing Xbox Live Compute, Microsoft’s cloud computing service.
“Forza used it a little bit, but they weren’t as reliant on it as we are,” he said. “The game is completely reliant on it. If it’s down, nobody can play.”
The developer had identified about ten issues with the game during beta testing and had dealt with them all. But he also said that refining Titanfall will be an ongoing project.
Titanfall will be released on Xbox One and PC on March 14 in Europe, March 11 in North America and late March on Xbox 360.
