Ubisoft taking survey for Assassin’s Creed 5

Ubisoft taking survey for Assassin’s Creed 5

What would you want or like to see in the next Assassin’s Creed game? That is precisely what Ubisoft is asking of its fans as part of a new survey leaked to IGN. This survey also hints that Ubisoft is considering creating an all-new pirate pirate-themed game not connected to Assassin’s Creed.

Ubisoft asked fans what they would most enjoy from the options listed below:

-Playing as a new Assassin, in a different historical time period

-More famous historical characters to meet/befriend/fight

-More assassination missions

-More stealth gameplay sequences

-The possibility to influence the look and feel of the city through progression in the game

-Ability to extend the game experience on mobile or tablet

-The possibility to seamlessly enter and explore more buildings and houses

Ubisoft still has not yet formally confirmed anything about a follow up to ‘Black Flag’, though the publisher has released a new entry in the mainline series since 2009.

Ubisoft has said previously that the next Assassin’s Creed game will have “much more” of a next-generation feel to it.

Concerning the non-Assassin’s Creed-branded pirate game, Ubisoft asked fans, “What would be the most important elements among these below.” The choices included:

-Customizable pirate character, ship, and hideout

-A deeper economy

-Additional activities at sea or on land

The survey also addressed issues about cooperative and competitive naval combat, asking fans if they would enjoy the opportunity to, “sail and fight with my friends” and “sail and fight with other players.” Ubisoft created a multiplayer naval battle mode for Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, but the studio cut this feature before the game shipped, breaking the heart of director Ashraf Ismail.
