The game take a turn towards the arcade-style basketball games like the ones we had years ago like NBA Street and NBA Jam. It is licensed by the NBA and features players both active and retired. The trailer also shows off Allen Iverson going against Steph Curry and Hill.
As it is an officially licensed game, the game also has featured every NBA team in NBA Playgrounds, and the roster of current and retired players can be leveled up. And remember those ‘fly-to-the sky and dunk’ move, yup, its got that too.
Matt Karch, CEO of Saber Interactive (developers of the game) has said its accessible enough for anyone to pick up and play, but it still has “a lot of depth for hardcore pros who’ve mastered their game”
The game comes out next month as a digital download for $20 USD and relevent prices on other regions.
