A new Assassin’s Creed game is in the works, with Ubisoft Montreal in charge of development. Ubisoft has been rather tight-lipped about the whole game, though leaks are all over the place. More news comes via GRYOnline, who report that along with being set in Egypt, the game will have a map size over three times bigger than Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag. Though knowing Ubisoft, that might not mean much if they just fill it up with repetitive side missions and collectibles, a la Ghost Recon Wildlands.
The main character will be be of a slightly darker skin, a distant ancestor of Altair, and a former slave.
Here’s a quick rundown of the details:
- The next game will be a sort of prequel for the franchise.
- It’s set in Ancient Egypt.
- You play as a Former Slave.
- The Main Character is a Distant Ancestor of Altair.
