Atlus revealed recently that they will be making a new Shin Megami Tensei game for the upcoming Nintendo Switch. Additionally, they’ll make another title from the same series for the existing Nintendo 3DS.
The official press release states that the new game for the Switch will be a brand new HD title, and as seen in the teaser, will be in 3D. It has been tentatively named as Shin Megami Tensei: Brand New Title. The game has been confirmed for release in Japan, but details about whether and when the game will come to the West are yet to be announced.
In addition to the Switch title, Atlus is also making a Shin Megami Tensei game for the Nintendo 3DS to commemorate the franchise’s 25th anniversary. However, the studio hasn’t clarified whether it is the same title as the one currently development for the Switch.
