God Hand
God hand is an action beat ’em up game where the player takes control of Gene, a martial artist who packs literally the power of god hand (or you could say punch) on a quest to defeat a group of demons known as the Four Devas to resurrect Angra for purposes of world domination. God Hand mixes the Western and Japanese theme perfectly with a bit of comedy added to it. The best part about it is its gameplay. I mean how many games allow you to punch your enemies and send them flying in the sky and God Hand allows you to do that and more!
WWE Smack Down! Here Comes the Pain
WWE smack down here comes the pain is, I feel one of the best games in the WWE series. It has some really great gameplay. This was, I believe, the go-to game to be played with your friend. With one of the great season modes, we at Gaming Central would like to play this game again!
Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater
MGS3: Snake Eater is arguably the best game in the Metal Gear series, with gameplay features like using camouflage (such as face paint etc) to blend in with environment like the trees the grass to avoid enemy confrontation, healing injuries (example – if Snake had a long fall then he could very well fracture his leg which then needed to be healed with bandage and splint else it would affect how snake walks) and hunting and eating animals present in the environment to maintain stamina which if not done could affect how snake aims, etc.
These features brought a sense of realism in the game which impressed me the most. Also MGS 3: Snake Eater has one of the best stories in the Metal Gear series and thus this makes it must play for us.
Ratchet and Clank Series
Ratchet and Clank series is a action-oriented platformer and is one of the most fun exclusive game series that PS2. The games takes place in a science fiction/space setting and follows the adventures of Ratchet, a feline-like character who is also a mechanic and Clank who is a robot.
Both of these characters travel through the universe defeating evil from time to time. The series is noted for its inclusion of many exotic, unique and over-the-top weapons and gadgets and is played by people of all ages and thus Ratchet and Clank is worthy of a visit again.
Shadow of the Colossus
Shadow of the Colossus is an action-adventure game in which the player takes role of young man named Wander who enters a forbidden land and must travel across on horseback in order defeat sixteen massive beings, known simply as Colossi to restore the life of a girl named Mono.
The game world has no towns or dungeons to explore, no characters with which the player can interact with and no enemies to defeat other than the Colossi. Shadow of Colossus can be also described as a puzzle game, as each Colossi’s weakness must be identified to defeat it. Shadow of the Colossus is often regarded as an important example of video game art thanks to its great landscape designs, immersive gameplay and emotional journey and thus we would like to visit the world of Shadow of the Colossus again.
