DICE unveiled a new mode for Star Wars Battlefront at EA’s gamescom conference today, and the new mode is named as Fighter Squadron. The new mode basically focuses on ship-to-ship combat above the surface and through treacherous terrains. You can watch the footage of the Fighter Squadron mode here.
Star Wars Battlefront‘s Fighter Squadron mode features iconic Star Wars starfighters, including A-Wings, X-Wings, TIE Interceptors and TIE Fighters, as well as hero-style ships, like the Millennium Falcon and Boba Fett’s Slave I.
Developer DICE has said that the Fighter Squadron will feature up to 20 combatants, including AI controlled battleships.
The game is coming for Playstation 4, PC and XBox one on November 17, 2015.
