The recently released open world zombie game Dying Light seems to have made quite an impression just a week after its release. According to the title’s official twitter account which said” From the moment Dying Light got released right-up until yesterday we had over 1,200,000 unique players,” the game has attracted some 1.2 million players since its release.
That number includes unique players across PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC from January 27-February 2. The game was to come out on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, but those versions were canceled in October 2014.
The figures are likely to grow further still as physical copies of the game will be released across Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and Australia later this month. The digital versions of the game are available in these regions but the physical versions were delayed last minute.
