Microsoft will be offering a new model of the Xbox One, with a 1TB Hard Disk Drive and a matte finish, as opposed to the glossy finish it sells with now, which is an atrocious fingerprint and dust magnet. Unlike the PS4, the Xbox One does not allow users to replace the HDD themselves without voiding the warranty. This new console will be bundled with Halo: Master Chief Collection for a limited period.
Microsoft also announced a controller redesign, which tweaks the bumpers slightly and removes the proprietary headset jack and replaces it with a 3.5mm jack.
In addition, they also released a special edition Covert Forces controller, which has a grey camouflage finished shell.
Microsoft also released the long awaited wireless dongle for coupling the Xbox One controller with a PC, which before this needed to be wired with the PC to be used. It can be purchased individually for $25, and will also be bundled with a controller for $80.
