Developer Bethesda announced yesterday that Wolfenstein: The New Order will launch across the Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and PC on May 20 in North America. And later on in Europe on the 23rd of May. For those that pre-order the game will get them a ticekt into the upcoming Doom 4 beta.
Wolfenstein: The New Order was initially all set to come out in fall 2013, but was delayed because the game needed more polish. The game remains a single-player affair and has no multiplayer option.
Wolfenstein: The New Order is set during an alternate 1960s after the Nazi regime was victorious during the second world war thanks to its advanced technology. The Nazis are the super power and its up to you as series hero B.J. Blazkowicz, to bring down this reign of tyranny.
Bethesda also released a new trailer for Wolfenstein: The New Order yesterday, which has a very Inglourious Basterds feel to it. The trailer shows the game’s locations, characters, and story, and….you know what, why don’t you’ll just watch it instead of us spoiling it for you. Just make sure you watch it till the end
