TP-LINK, World’s No.1 provider of WLAN products, today announced CS-GO National gaming event CLAN WARS. This is one among the largest gaming fest, which will kick off from Mumbai on 21st February – with grand finale on 13th March 2016 at ARG Lounge, Bengaluru. Led by Cyber Gaming Entertainment (CGE), TP-LINK Clan Wars will take place in popular gaming lounges in Mumbai, Kolkata, Delhi and Bengaluru. This event offers the attendees a peek into the trends and future of modern Wi-Fi technologies that pace up the gaming industry.
“The gaming industry continues to spring as one of the dynamic and increasingly important sector. We are pleased to welcome record number of gaming enthusiasts and media peoples to this event,” said Kunal Raul, G.M. Marketing at TP-LINK India.”Forged from TP-LINK’s engineering know-how, developed alongside eSports professionals and gaming enthusiasts, ‘Archer series’ is driven by performance, style and comfort. We will continue to meet ever evolving demands of gaming community and ensure to be in pace withevery pulse of gamers.”
Archer series of TP-LINK comes with the next generation 11ac Wi-Fi standard. 802.11ac is an evolution of 802.11n-increasing speed and capacity for today’s wireless LANs. But, functioning in the unlicensed 60 GHz band, 802.11ad will likely be a shorter-range, super-speed technology. Increasing frequency by a factor of 10 reduces range by a significant amount. Therefore, 802.11ad is shaping up to be more of a personal area range and will be used in some ways that one would use Bluetooth today, but with higher data rates. Some of the 802.11ac compatible TP-LINK’s routers are Archer C2600, Archer C9 and Touch P5. Talon AD7200 is world’s first multi-band router based on 802.11ad most powerful innovation in wireless technology. It brings the robust capabilities of 802.11ad to market, delivering ultra-fast speeds of up to 4.6Gbps on 60GHz bands. With this, gamers get a super-fast, high performance connected gaming throne.
E-Sports or Competitive Gaming, is a phenomena that has the potential to drive thousands crazy in quest of a single moment of brilliance, unmatched exuberance and a whole lot of glory and delight that comes with it. The Indian Gaming scene has grown leaps and bounds over the past decade thanks to large numbers of young gamers entering the scene and picking up the sport in a serious manner well supported by national and state level events that promise competition with a platform for gamers to highlight their skills.
