Total Chaos: A Heinous Survival Horror Adventure Arrives Q2 2025

Total Chaos, a harrowing survival horror experience developed by Trigger Happy Interactive (creator of Turbo Overkill), and published by legendary indie publisher Apogee Entertainment, is set to launch on PC via Steam in Q2 2025, with Steam VR support in development. Fans eager to face the nightmare can get a sneak peek with a free demo arriving early 2025.

A Descent into Isolation and Fear

In Total Chaos, players take on the role of a Coast Guardsman stranded on Fort Oasis, a decayed mining outpost engulfed in mystery and supernatural dread. Following a cryptic radio transmission urging, “Get to the mines,” players unravel the haunting secrets of the island’s missing inhabitants. Can the voice be trusted? And why does Fort Oasis seem eerily familiar?

Survive nine treacherous chapters of psychological horror where every shadow holds danger. Scavenge for clues, decipher cryptic notes, and wield improvised weapons—a pipe wrench, makeshift axe, or anything you can find—to fend off relentless, mind-reading monstrosities. For those who dare venture further, an optional DLC introduces an all-new tenth chapter, expanding the game’s lore with fresh enemies, locales, and chilling narrative twists.

Developer Insights

Total Chaos is designed to make players feel truly helpless and alone,” said Sam Prebble, developer at Trigger Happy Interactive. “Survival horror isn’t just about jump scares—it’s about atmosphere and tension. We’re pushing those elements to the extreme.”

Scott Miller, founder of Apogee Entertainment, added: “From the start, we wanted Total Chaos to disturb and captivate players. It’s an entirely different intensity compared to Turbo Overkill, but equally heart-pounding.”
