Top 10 TV Shows That Indian Gamers Absolutely Must Watch

We all love playing games but sometimes it’s nice to sit back, relax and watch a show. Here Top 10 TV Shows That Indian Gamers Absolutely Must Watch.

Game Of Thrones

Dun dun dududun dun dududun dun…You hummed it as well, didn’t you? For those who didn’t, we suggest you drop everything right now and go watch an episode of Game of Thrones. It has absolutely eveything you can ask for – boobs, gore, dragons, conspiracies, wolves, boobs, politics, lore, boobs, pyromania, necromancy, ghost monster babies – did I say boobs? With suspense and climaxes so intense that you’d be scared to leave the screen even to pee, it is definitely a show every gamer should watch at least once..

Westworld

This is the closest we can get to a Red Dead Redemption amusement park. Westworld, a world full of animatronic humanoid characters with detailed backstories, Anthony Hopkins, Cyclops, and that one black guy who was a scientist in The Hunger Games, Wonder if he’s been typecast and Thor’s older brother.

Stranger Things

Next up on the list is Stranger Things. If you’re a fan of late 80s early 90s style sci fi, or the works of Stephen King and Steven Spielberg, then this show is right up your alley. The show manages to beautifully add a mix of science fiction pop culture references from X-Files to E.T. to some I don’t even understand and it hits that nostalgia g-spot just right.

House of Cards

It is an American political drama web television series which is an adaptation of the BBC’s mini-series of the same name and based on the novel by Michael Dobbs. I know what you’re thinking right now, didn’t Spacey act as the villain in Call of Duty Advanced Warfare? In fact, in the first episode itself he is seen to be playing a COD type shooter. Later on in the show he plays games like Monument Valley and Agario. And there are also nods to the Playstation console. All in all, a great show for gamers!

Firefly

Cowboys in space riding horses alongside hovering cars. Need I say more? In the beginning you’ll probably wonder “What’s happening? The fuck is this?” but by the time you get to the end, you’ll be singing the title track, tears in your eyes as you watch the last episode *I don’t care, I’m still free…..You can’t take the sky from me*. All in course of a single season. That’s probably the most disappointing thing about the show, it got cancelled after one season. The best sure die young, don’t they?

Mr. Robot

Fight club meets Clockwork Orange meets The Matrix. Come see the world through the eyes of Elliot a cybersecurity engineer in a stuffy corporate job by day and a hacker by night. The series follows his attempts to take down the unimaginatively named Evil Corporation.

Black Mirror

Warped realities and more. Black Mirror is a British anthology focussed on aspects of modern life that scare us all. Specifically, it deals with possible uses of fictional technology and how that might warp our ways of living. Watch this show for a satirical take on how human beings interact with technology.

Breaking Bad

A high school chemistry teacher diagnosed with inoperable lung cancer turns to manufacturing and selling methamphetamine in order to secure his family’s future.

Narcos

The true story of Colombia’s infamously violent and powerful drug cartels fuels this gritty gangster drama series.

Fargo

Various chronicles of deception, intrigue and murder in and around frozen Minnesota. Yet all of these tales mysteriously lead back one way or another to Fargo, ND.

True Detective

Seasonal anthology series in which police investigations unearth the personal and professional secrets of those involved, both within and outside the law.
