Dying Light Makes A Solid Start

The recently released open world zombie game Dying Light seems to have made quite an impression just a week after its release. According to the title’s official twitter account which said” From the moment Dying Light got released right-up until yesterday we had over 1,200,000 unique players,” the game has attracted some 1.2 million players since its release. That number includes unique players across PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC from January 27-February 2. The game was to come out on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, but those versions were canceled in October 2014. Dying Light New Test Your Survival Skills Video

I just think that this is such a good idea for a video. Create your own path with the decisions you make in the video, yes that’s right you actually get to choose what happens in this video. As it proceeds there are various options that you have choose from like engage in battle, leap over rooftops, ignore zombies. This is such an interesting way to give gamers a taste of what they can expect and leave them wanting more. At least I did.   Tell me you didn’t like this video!

Counter-Strike to have zombies in next game

The South Korean company, Nexon has announced another game that is all set for entry into the series and, as you’d assume its themed around zombies. Free-to-play multiplayer FPS Counter-Strike Nexon: Zombies will be heading to Steam this Summer/Autumn. It looks like Zombies will be involved with game modes such as as Hostage Rescue and Bomb Diffusion. These modes haven’t been detailed yet, but Counter-Strike Online’s Left 4 Dead-like Zombie Darkness mode might hold a few clues. Valve’s Doug Lombardi couldn’t contain his excitement: “Today we are announci...

Dead Rising 3 Not to come out in Germany

Dead Rising 3 has been banned from being released in Germany by the Unterhaltungssoftware Selbstkontrolle. Capcom Vancouver’s Xbox One launch game  apparently did not receive an age rating during its software regulation review, according to Games Welt and confirmed to Destructoid by Microsoft. Traditionally speaking, video game violence is constantly under the scanner and is always kept on a close watch. Dead Rising’s absurd, over-the-top gore has prevented Dead Rising and Dead Rising 2 from publishing in Germany previously. Source: IGN
