The year-end awards season begins tonight with the 2015 Game Awards. Some of 2015’s finest games will be celebrated, with one ultimately taking home the coveted overall Game of the Year award. The Witcher 3 took home the grand prize at this year’s 2015 Game Awards, beating out Bloodborne, Fallout 4, Metal Gear Solid V, and Super Mario Makerto win Game of the Year. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Epic Trailer Released

This has been a phenomenal year for The Witcher! Here are a couple words from Konrad Tomaszkiewicz the Game Director: “This year was really epic for the entire crew behind The Witcher. We launched Wild Hunt, the RPG we’ve been working on for so long, then we’ve gone above and beyond to give gamers as many free DLC as we could, and then released Hearts of Stone, which – judging from player feedback – took the game even further. And we innovated all along the way — if you compare Wild Hunt to our previous game, almost every element was improved or changed. Now we’re working on Blood and Wine, the final expansion for Wild Hunt which we will launch in 2016. To thank everyone for being with us this whole time, we’ve prepared something special — enjoy the Epic Trailer!” T...

Cyberpunk 2077 Is Far Bigger Than The Witcher 3

Cyberpunk 2077, the next game from The Witcher developer CD Projekt Red, is the biggest title the studio has ever made. The sci-fi-flavoured RPG was originally announced back in 2012, but the Polish outlet has remained quiet on specificities of the project since. Now it has been revealed that the title will be even grander in scale than the third and final entry in the developer’s sprawling fantasy series, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. “Cyberpunk is far bigger than anything else that CD Projekt Red has done before,” visual effects artist Jose Teixeira told MCV. “Far, far bigger. “We’re really stepping into the unknown in terms of complexity and size and problems we encounter.” The Witcher 3 became the fastest-selling game in the UK during 2015 upon its release back in May, but was overta...

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt isn’t just a video game, it’s a lifestyle. By which we mean, the dang thing is so long that entire trends will have come and gone in the time it takes you to finish the story. When you’re sitting down with the intent of investing that much time in a game, it’s good to know a few things when you’re first starting out. Fortunately for you, we’ve already run the gauntlet. Seen the sights. Slain the toothy, drooling beasts. And we’ve got some tips to make your time doing those things just a little bit easier. 1. Witcher 3’s Steelbook Covers Are Epic

We already sort of had an idea that The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt’s collector’s edition was going to come in a good looking steelbook cover. And now we can have a closer look at the gorgeous artwork. Developer CD Projekt Red and designer Studio Kxx have revealed new images of the pieces of artwork, which I have to say look pretty epic. Here are the pictures — The Witcher 3 Collector’s Edition also includes a pretty badass Geralt statue, an artbook, a map, and various other goodies. The game was originally expected to launch in 2014 but after a few delays, the release date got shifted to the 19th of May, 2015 for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.

Witcher 3 Reveals 4 Awesome Screenshots

CD Projekt Red has released a bunch of incredible screenshots for their upcoming role-playing game, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. Here are the images–   These images show the game’s “relatively handsome” hero, Geralt of Rivia, in an assortment of snowy settings. One image shows him taking on a pack of wolves and another shows him taking on a fierce-looking gryffin. The other image, to say the least shows us how massive the game world in The Witcher 3 will be. CD Projekt Red has mentioned before that The Witcher 3 is 35 times the size of The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings and about 20 percent larger than The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim The Witcher 3 was initially set to come out this fall, but in March was delayed to 2015. Now the game is set to debut on the 24th of February 2...

New screenshots for Witcher 3

CD Projekt Red has revealed three new screenshots of The Witcher 3. The first picture show Geralt riding on a horse into what remained of a bloody battle, which also shows a headless corpse, face down in the mud. In the second picture you see Geralt exploring a typical Witcher city street, and happens to walk in on two thugs beating a victim. You can see his hands reaching for his sword, ready to step in. The final shot is of Geralt again on a horse around a swamp area, but isn’t the only one there.   The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is in development for PC, PS4 and Xbox One. It doesn’t have a release date beyond 2014, which means we’ve got a decent amount of time to wait. Source: Eurogamer

Witcher 3 to supposedly to have 100 hours of content

Over six million copies of games in The Witcher franchise have been sold according to CD Projekt RED. To celebrate, they have released an infographic which charts the progression of the series through all the titles that have been released so far, as well as the upcoming The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. For example, it looks like the game is going to have over 100 hours of content and a whopping 36 different endings… which is a lot.     Source: IGN

The Witcher 3’s world to be 35 times larger than its predecessor

This is some crazy news if you happen to be a Witcher fan. Lead Producer of the Witcher 3, Dominika Gonsierowska, revealed that the game’s world will be massive, approximately 35 times larger than that of Witcher 2. Gonsierowska also mentioned that this  world won’t be dull and that it is quite rich. “However, we’re not creating this vast, open world just for the sake of it being large. We want to include a lot of content and we simply need a huge space to fit it all in. We’ve sprinkled the world with points of interest – places that catch players’ interest in various ways and offer side-quests or unique beasts to slay.” Tomasz Kozera, Gameplay Designer of The Witcher 3 also stated that the team is refreshing the alchemy so that it will meet fans’ expectations. And that the sys...
