Review: WD Blue SSD 250 GB

WD Blue SSDs are the brand’s first consumer SSDs after WD acquired SanDisk last year. With PC users favouring faster data transfer rates and better safety features, SSDs are slowly becoming a viable replacement for hard disk drives (HDDs), as they can greatly reduce boot and load times, and are a lot easier to maintain and carry around than an HDD.   The WD Blue is a SATA SSD available in two form factors: a 2.5″ and an M.2 version, and comes in three variants: 250 GB, 500 GB and 1 TB.
