According to a Game Informer interview with game director Todd Howard, the studio better understood how to deal with bugs and problems following the release of Skyrim and its subsequent DLC. Specifically, it learned what to prioritize for the launch of Fallout 4, should that game face similar issues. “I think we’ve gotten way better there,” he sa...

Rumor has it that Warner Bros. Games Montreal, the studio responsible for the open-world super hero game, Batman: Arkham Origins, released in 2013, is making a Superman video game through a supposedly leaked screenshot. It lists Superman’s abilities with the costume, as well as his vulnerabilities. The UI buttons are those of an Xbox 360 controller. This rumor follows last week’s news that WB Games Montreal is hiring to fill 15 positions for an open world action game, which is “a new IP project for next generation game platforms.” The game they are working on will have an online component and, most importantly, WB’s listing describes ...

The original CSR Racing game was a big hit on mobile. After its release in 2012, it quickly sped to $12m of monthly revenues – a startling amount at the time, although less so now with Candy Crush Saga having made around $3.6m a day in 2014. Still, CSR Racing motored on to 130m downloads on iOS and Android, and was a big part of the reason why social games publisher Zynga paid $527m to acquire its British developer NaturalMotion in January 2014. Now under Zynga’s wing, NaturalMotion is working on two tentpole titles that it hopes will spark an upturn in the fortunes of the publisher, which never quite managed to translate its FarmVille-fuelled dominance on Facebook into mobile success on the Candy Crush / Clash of Clans scale. Dawn of Titans, unveiled earlier this year as an epic war-wagin...
