Far Cry 4 Just Took The Back Seat

For those of you that have played Fry Cry 3, you will know that the game is nothing less than spectacular and is probably one of the better looking games around. However, you might think differently after reading this after with the pictures that are in it. Below is a map of the Huangshan mountain range made by artist Simon Barle of DICE who worked on the latest Battlefield. It’s an Unreal 4 recreation of the Huangshan mountain range.   It was finished late last month after extensive tweaking based on feedback from the projects polycount forum thread. I can totally imagine myself grappling on to a mountain side or taking a glider and exploring the territory.

People who like Metal Gear Solid and Unreal Engine 4, you are in for a real treat! Polycount’s member ‘The_Distiller‘ has shown some pictures from his project that is inspired by Konami’s MGS series. Tekken 7 Confirmed according to Report

This game has a special place in my heart. I’ve spent many hours in the video game shop next to my colony, jamming away at those red buttons and swinging that joystick from one side to the other. And to hear that the 3D Fighting game Tekken 7 is currently in development, it does more than just make my day. The game may be announced officially in the next couple of days at the EVO 2014 fighting game event taking place in Las Vegas this weekend, but this news leaked early. It first came out when a Tekken 7 logo flashed on one of the projection monitors at the event, and then with a video report from IGN posted to AOL.com. Microsoft Studios acquires rights to Gears of War franchise

Microsoft already has the rights to the Halo series, and now it’s adding another blockbuster to its stable of franchises: Gears of War. The company announced today that it has acquired the rights for the series from developer Epic Games. While no new Gears of War games were announced, development for the series will be handled by Microsoft Studios’ Vancouver-based subsidiary Black Tusk Studios. Former series producer Rod Fergusson will be joining Black Tusk to “play a key studio leadership role” on the franchise.
