Uncharted 4 Delayed To May 10th, 2016
Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End has been delayed until Tuesday, May 10th, two weeks on from its previous release date of April 26th. Sony’s Shawn Layden announced the news in a blog post, saying that although the game is on track to go gold this month, more time is needed for manufacturing. We did kind of predict that this might happen, for entirely different reasons. It’s the third time Uncharted 4 has been delayed; the climactic chapter of Nathan Drake’s saga was meant to hit last year before being delayed into March and then April. Naughty Dog’s has released some pretty bad news this Christmas, they’re delaying Uncharted 4 to April 26, 2016. “This is our largest Uncharted game to date, and the team has been working incredibly hard to meet the challenge of closing out the game’s development in a timely manner,” directors Neil Druckmann and Bruce Straley wrote on the PlayStation Blog today. “However, as we approached our final deadlines and started wrapping up the game’s levels, we realized that several key sequences needed extra resources to bring them to the finish line. After carefully considering all of our options, we decided to extend our schedule, making sure that we get a few more polish passes before submitting our gold master (the final disc for manufacturing).” This is the second delay for Uncharted 4, which...
Uncharted 4 Cancelled!
Uncharted 4, the sequel to the uncharted series has now been cancelled. The Co-director Neil says he’s tired, and going to spend the rest of his years participating in a “No-shave November” in the mountains. He called us up and said ” Yes Assholes I’m definitely in for the competition!” (Are you in!?). And he also sent us this picture, we haven’t quite figured out what he’s aiming for. When die hard fans of Uncharted demanded answers to a million questions like, what now? What happens to Drake? Is Elena single now? Do I still get my money back?
