Tom Clancy’s The Division PC Specs Revealed

It is reported that Ubisoft has revealed the PC system requirements of one of the biggest releases of 2015, Tom Clancy’s The Division. The picture below provides the details and its pretty reasonable PC requirements, which will be a relief to the PC community especially after games like Assassin’s Creed Unity created much concern and this could be Ubisoft’s chance to redeem itself.

Latest Assassin’s Creed Unity Patch Removes The Need For Companion App

Ubisoft has released a new patch for Assassin’s Creed Unity which unlocks the rewards previously tied to the game’s companion app and Initiates web service. The patch is available for Xbox One, PS4 and PC. Initially players needed to download and play Unity’s mobile/tablet app to unlock the blue chests that cover the main game’s map. These contain in-game money and new equipment, as well as the custom outfit of Assassin’s Creed 1 hero Altair. Many players were not happy with the idea of content in the main game being locked away in this manner. The new patch also removes the need to log into Ubisoft’s Initiates web service which was made to track your progress through the entire Assassin’s Creed Series. As a player would level up, the gold chests dotted over the main Unity map would unlock...

Assassin’s Creed Unity Dead King’s DLC

It’s been a while since we have other something from Ubisoft about Assassin’s Creed Unity. They did get off to a rocky start during the games launch with way too many issues with the game. Overtime Ubisoft managed to fix those issues with constant patches being released. However, to make up for that disastrous launch Ubisoft said that the Dead King’s DLC was going to be complimentary for those who bought the game, and for those who got the season pass Ubisoft offered a free game.   In the trailer above you see what the expansion has to offer. Follow Arno as he explores the city of Saint-Denis and its extensive, open world underground. Saint-Denis is an ancient necropolis with an intricate network of catacombs and deep caves that hide the best-kept secrets of the Fren...

Assassin’s Creed Movie Delayed Till 2016

For Assassin’s Creed fans this could be pretty disastrous news as there has been an even further delay in the movie. After a few stumbles and adjustments in production and schedule the live-action adaptation is all set to come out the 21st of December 2016. ComicBook.com reports that Twentieth Century Fox officially announced the movie’s slot for December 2016. The movie has been pushed back almost a year as it initially scheduled for an August 2015 release. The film which is based on the successful Ubisoft video game series of the same name, will feature “X-Men”‘s Michael Fassbender, who is to be playing the role of Desmond Miles—the main character from the games who lives in the present but through a software called Animus is caught in a war between Assassins and ...

Far Cry 4 Permadeath DLC Released

There is new content that is out for Ubisoft’s open-world action game Far Cry 4. Ubisoft released the Escape from Durgesh Prison expansion, which is a time trial expansion that introduces permadeath to the game. The DLC is available today on PC, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation 4. In this expansion, lead characters Ajay and Hurk find themselves locked up in a prison, beaten up and stripped of their weapons. But if these chaps are known for anything that is to not give up. In order to escape, players must complete a bunch of challenegs crafted by Pagan Min, to get weapons and upgrade them before the end.   Ubisoft says that this DLC represents a “true test of players’ survival skills,” and they say this because the expansion doesn’t allow...

Ubisoft Give Out Survey For Next Far Cry Game

Far Cry 4 publisher Ubisoft seems to have sent out a survey of some sort to a few of its customers asking them what they would like to see in future Far Cry games. The questionnaire, which was brought to light by Eurogamer, has an assortment of scenarios for fans to either approve or dismiss. Some of the ideas include “a Far Cry game where you can fight against or join vampires”, and something like “a Mad Max-style post-apocalyptic world”, and even “a Far Cry game set in the modern day on a Jurassic Park-style island with dinosaurs”. While the survey as such doesn’t really offer any solid evidence or information as to what the approach is that Ubisoft Montreal will take for its next Far Cry game, it does give us the idea that those in charge are keeping ...

The Crew Review

The game has left me a little confused on exactly where to place it in terms of a review. It is very detailed and expansive playground for a racing game in the past few years. There is the free roam option which allows you to explore every highway, dirt track and city clock with your friends—that should pretty much do it right? But then there’s the fact that it’s always-online, plot driven game in which you assume the role of a street racer as an undercover cop.   Gameplay The game starts with a decently long prologue which somehow ticks off the entire Fast and Furious and NFS great driving checklist, so you’ve got the regulars like illegal racing gangs, electronic music blasting through your stereo, you’ve obviously got the cops behind you and you have a score to settle. You are then...
