New Last of Us DLC is a treat for multiplayer

Well we’ve got some not to good news. If you were under the impression that once you picked up The Last of Us: Remastered,that you were going to get every bit of DLC that Naughty Dog and Sony had to offer, well you thought wrong. The Last of Us DLC and PS4 Remastered Version

Just a few days before the remastered version of the The Last of Us comes out for PS4, Naughty Dog plans on revealing the newest Last of Us downloadable content today as part of a live stream on Twitch. The details regarding the new DLC are still quite scarce but we know it will be available for both PS3 and PS4. New maps are expected to be at least part of it, and the images you see to the right and below are teases for where they will be set. Previous DLC packs included the Abandoned Territories map pack  and the Grounded bundle. When news about Amy Hennig (the creator and writer of the Uncharted series) leaving Sony-owned developer Naughty Dog got around, many wondered about the future of the franchise, and who would assume the role of taking charge of the newly-announced Uncharted game for PlayStation 4? Something seems to be brewing over at Naughty Dog studios. Some stuff has been taking place behind the scenes according to The Last of Us Game Director Bruce Straley took to Twitter to express his appreciation for a prototype a designer was sketching: “I got goosebumps playing & talking thru a prototype a designer was sketching in yesterday! Sony confirm The Last of Us: Remastered for PS4

Sony has finally confirmed the rumor that  The Last of Us: Remastered is real. “SCEA can confirm The Last of Us Remastered is coming to PS4, and we’ll be sharing more details with you shortly.”   This rumor initially started when a listing for The Last of Us: Remastered for PlayStation 4 was seen on Sony’s PlayStation Store. The listing, spotted by NeoGAF, has appeared on the Sony Entertainment Network website in the US, stating a $59.99 price and a day one digital release–suggesting a physical edition is also likely in the works.   Source: Martin Gaston

Preorders of Infamous: Second Son likely to overtake The Last of Us preorders

Before you read this article remember that The Last of Us was one of the top games, if not, was the best game of 2014. This comes as quite a shock because Sony confirmed that preorders for Infamous: Second Son in the UK have exceeded the preorder numbers The Last of Us had at this point comparatively to when it was launched. A few days ago, The Last of Us Creative Director Neil Druckmann and Game Director Bruce Straley held a Reddit Ask Me Anything where they mentioned that developer Naughty Dog still has to decide whether we’ll see a sequel to The Last of Us. “Right now I’d say it’s 50/50,” Druckmann said. Revealed: The Last of Us: Left Behind DLC

This has been an incredible week for Naughty Dog as they had two major reveals The first teaser trailer is for The Last of Us: Left Behind, a single-player DLC campaign coming early next year. The Last of Us: Left Behind is Naughty Dog’s first ever single-player DLC. The Last of Us alternate ending leaked

Naughty Dog has released an image hinting at the original ending of The Last of Us. Creative Director Neil Druckmann teased fans in a twitter post saying that they will “see how it originally ended” at the studio’s PAX panel later this month. Druckmann portrayed an angry Tess holding a knife to Joel’s throat: Druckmann and Straley’s panel will take place from 2:00-3:00 p.m. Pacific on Friday, August 30th.
