Naughty Dog announced today that it is working on two new maps for the Factions multiplayer mode in The Last of Us on both PS3 and PS4. The maps will be handed out for free “in appreciation for all of your continued patience” in regards to issues plaguing the game’s online matchmaking. “We know this can be frustrating and the team here at Naughty Dog wants everyone in our community to know that working on this issue continues to be our number one priority,” read a post from Naughty Dog’s Arne Meyer on the developer’s blog. Well we’ve got some not to good news. If you were under the impression that once you picked up The Last of Us: Remastered,that you were going to get every bit of DLC that Naughty Dog and Sony had to offer, well you thought wrong. Both the PS3 and PS4 versions of the game will be getting updates in the form of a DLC- whether that’s good news or bad depends on how much you like The Last of Us multiplayer and hats.
