Tekken 7 Release Date For Consoles Announced

Bandai Namco has finally revealed the release date for their next sidestepping 3D fighting title, Tekken 7. Originally scheduled to be released “early 2017″, the game now has a new launch date of 2nd June. Speaking to GameSpot during a press event in Tokyo last week, project leader Katsuhiro Harada said,”We were trying our best to get the game out at that time, to get it into the hands of users as early as possible. We saw some titles–some from our own company and some from others–which didn’t have a very good launch because of a lack of content, or whatever it was, that caused players to bash the product.” His team wanted to avoid the same fate, and decided to continue forward with its original content plan even if that meant the game would come a...

Tekken 7 Gets A New Action Packed Trailer

Bandai Namco has released a new trailer for their upcoming fighting game Tekken 7, showing off the new story and action. The newest edition addition to the Tekken franchise looks quite cool in the new trailer, although it mostly focuses on cinematics, with a small showcase of gameplay footage towards the end. Earlier, the game got a trailer dedicated to Miguel, the rebellious bullfighter who made his debut in Tekken 6.  Tekken 7 has been released for arcades in Japan for over a year now.
