Square Enix has a whole bunch of stuff planned for Tokyo Games Show 2016, among which is an, as of yet unannounced, action game. The company has teased it recently here. Given it’s excellent line-up of games over the recent period, including Tomb Raider, Deus Ex, Just Cause, Life Is Strange, Hitman, etc, once can expect whatever new it has in store to be a strong title. Being a teenage girl was never easy. Deus Ex: Mankind Divided Gets First Patch, Addresses Crash Issues

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided launched on the PC yesterday with quite a few issues, which Eidos Montreal hope to have taken care of with the first patch release. The patch updates the game v1.0 build 524.7 and focuses on “critical issues users ran into immediately following release.” These primarily deal with major crash issues rather than performance fixes, as the patch notes say: Fixed crashes caused by third-party programs interfering with the game. Fixed crash that occurred after viewing the intro videos. Fixed issue that could cause a crash at the end of the Prague intro scene. Fixed mouse invert setting not being displayed correctly in the options menu. The new Hitman reboot will be getting a new game mode, called the Elusive target, tomorrow in which the the players will be given only 48 hours to kill the unmarked NPC using the small amount of intel which will be provided. Free Game From Squeenix For a Rather Sad Reason

Square Enix announced today as a very generous gesture that they will be giving out free copies of Quantic Dream’s Omicron: The Nomad Soul until 22nd of this month. This is to honour David Bowie, who was involved pretty heavily in this game, and Alan Rickman, both of whom passed away this month at the age of 69. Deus Ex: Mankind Divided – Delayed until August 23rd, 2016

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided has been delayed until August 23rd, 2016, Eidos-Montreal announced today. The game, which was originally set for a February release date, is a followup to 2011’sHuman Revolution and is the second in Eidos-Montreal’s revival of the classic first-person series. Writing in a blog post on the game’s website, studio head David Anfossi cites polish as the reason for the delay, stating that “it will require more time in tuning, iterations, and refinement to meet our high standards.” Guess the god in the machine needs some more polish.
