The studio best known as the makers of Sleeping Dogs, United Front Games has been shut down in what seems like a sudden move. Currently, the studio had been working on Smash + Grab, an arena style gang-fighting game, where players fight with their gangs for loot and fame in an urban dystopia. The game had only recently hit Early Access on Steam, and had a free weekend about a week ago. Considering all this, this shutdown seems a little surprising. In 2014, United Front Games had signed up with Nexon for publishing the game, which was hyped until the very last moment.
