The acquisition builds on a successful publishing partnership between Respawn and EA, with multiple projects currently in development – a new title in the Titanfall franchise, a game set in the Star Wars universe and a VR gaming experience. “We’ve seen firsthand the world-class caliber of Respawn as a development studio with incredible vision, deep talent and an inspiring creative mindset,&...

Respawn Not Sure About Titanfall 3

Respawn seems to have a lot of ideas for a third Titanfall game, but it’s possible that the studio might not get to make them. In an interview, Glixel asked Respawn CEO Vince Zampella whether Titanfall 3 is a possibility. He said that even though the game has received overwhelmingly positive critical response, it’s too soon to say how the game has done from a sales perspective. “We don’t know yet,” Zampella said about making a third Titanfall game. “The game is, critically, a huge success. We’re really happy with all the reviews and the positive sentiment. Sales, it’s too early to tell. We’d definitely like to tell more of the story and the universe. I think it’s pretty safe to assume that we’ll explore more of it.” EA...

Jacked Up Iron Giant: Titanfall 2 Review

Now if you’re a fan of the Iron Giant, well, Titanfall 2 is just like the Iron Giant except on steroids. The sequel was far better than I had expected it to be and I’m sure that’s the thought a lot of you have. Like, holy cow Batman, this is far better than Call of Duty! Are we sure the devs  from Respawn worked on Call of Duty? I went into this game blind, not knowing what it was going to offer and no, I haven’t played the first Titanfall. The game starts with assuming control of Rifleman Jack Cooper from the Frontier Militia, a quick training level which introduces the player to the different moves like sliding and wall running and the different weapons available in the game. There’s even a quick time trial right at the end of the training and then comes the moment we all were waiting fo...

The first Titanfall game was mostly a multiplayer title, so it was a thrilling news for fans when EA and Respawn confirmed that Titanfall 2 will feature an extensive single player campaign. The latest trailer gives an insight into EA’s vision for the single player gameplay from the perspective of both Titan and Pilot, each bringing their unique abilities to the battlefield.   “Variety is what separates Titanfall 2 Single Player apart. Get a first look at how Jack and BT must combine their abilities and risk everything to survive together, and sometimes, apart. Whether fighting as a Pilot, the lightning-fast, elite guardians of The Frontier, or as a Titan, 20-foot-tall war machines, Titanfall 2 provides an action-packed adventure filled with fun.” – the YouTube ...

Titanfall 2 Single-Player Inspired By DOOM, Wolfenstein: The New Order

Unlike the first title that was completely a multiplayer experience, Titanfall 2 will include a single player campaign which will compliment the multiplayer. The fans had asked for it, the developers are giving it to them, and from the sound of it, it may turn out to be brilliant after all. In an interview with IGN, designer Mackey McCandlish stated,”I think having made as many games as some of the people on the team have, we start to look for opportunities to stretch our limbs and make something that would excite us,” McCandlish said. “We’ve all been influenced by Half-Life and Bioshock and didn’t really have the opportunity to bring that level of pacing and player-centric conflict to games like Call of Duty that are so much about a squad. So this was a reall...
