If any of the recent Quake Champions trailers are a clue, the game can be expected to be fast-paced, action-packed and extremely intense. The new trailer, however, shifts focus, with a serene look at the Ruins of Sarnath map. Don’t get me wrong, there are still plenty of blood, gore and heavy guitar riffs, but there’s also time to take a good look at the environment. With QuakeCon underway in Dallas, Texas, gamers were expecting to get a look at Quake Champions by id Software, which was initially teased at E3 2016. While the E3 trailer was purely cinematic, Bethesda has now revealed a gameplay trailer for the new Quake Champions. The trailer is jam packed with action that Quake is known for. While it’s been years since a new Quake game has been revealed, this one seems like it will do justice to the franchise.
