Sony’s Tokyo Game Show Press Conference Dated

Earlier today Sony has announced its annual press conference for Tokyo Game Show, which will take place on September 16 Tuesday at 12:30 PM (IST). PlayStation Plus Free Games of July 2015

Sony on Wednesday announced the free games PlayStation Plus members can download in July, which, like last month, includes a total of four titles for PlayStation 4 owners. The highlight, arguably, is the soccer-with-vehicles game Rocket League, which will support cross-platform play with the PC edition. Meanwhile, a total of three PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita games will be available for PlayStation Plus members on those platforms, including titles like Entwined, Geometry Wars 3, and Rain. Sony and MS Set for New Console War?

Sony and Microsoft look set to be gearing up for a new console war with their latest versions of the PS4 and Xbox One. A new listing suggests the tech giant is working on releasing an Xbox One console with a 1TB internal hard drive, which could mean two new models announced at E3 in June. The release of new PS4 and Xbox One models was predicted by Netflix chief product officer Neil Hunt earlier this year, who went as far as to say that 4K support could soon be added by Sony. The price of the new model is set at $400 and has a release date listed for June 15. To mark their 20th anniversary for PlayStation, Sony has revealed a new custom PS4, which is designed with an original PSOne finish. The console can be preordered from the US and Europe for $499 and €499. But there are only 12,300 of these bad boys around the world.   They’ve basically taken their latest console and given it a PlayStation look which was what started their venture in gaming. Packaged in a special commemorative box, the custom PS4 is brilliant with a familiar silver/grey finish. Amkette all set to launch a gaming device priced below Rs10,000

Homegrown technology firm Amkette is planning to launch a gaming product, priced below Rs.10,000 by the end of the year to tap the burgeoning multi-crore gaming industry in the country. Amkette expects to sell over 20,000 units of the Android-based device, which will compete with the likes of Microsoft Corp.’s XBox and Sony Corp.’s Playstation, in this fiscal year alone. “We are exploring newer variations (to Evo TV), particularly in the gaming segment. So there is a rumor going around in the twittersphere about the way The Order: 1886 is being privately defined in a rather interesting way: The Order is being described privately jokingly as Sony’s first Naughty Dog game. Take that for whatever it means graphically.   Whatever comes from “insider” isn’t usually the way it seems and is always something else to it, but it’s actually pretty easy to understand. PS Games to potentially stream to PC’s, TV’s and Phones

PlayStation games may one day stream directly to PC’s Smart TV’s and even smartphones. Once this phenomenon becomes reality, PlayStation will be seen as more of a service rather than just a mere line of consoles. SCE Worldwide Studios head, Shuhei Yoshida said that the rollout of Gaikai’s cloud services on PlayStation 4 next year is only the start of what the company hopes to achieve, in an interview with Dengeki Online. “Speaking of the ultimate goal, we would like to deliver PlayStation games to all devices,” he said. “So we’re considering various things like PC, TVs, Blu-ray players, smartphones and tablets.
