During a recent livestream for Gears of War 4, Rod Fergusson from The Coalition confirmed that the game is officially getting a movie. A collaboration between Microsoft and Universal, the movie is still in very early stages and according to Fergusson, they’re not ready to announce a director or writer for the project. Microsoft has released the official launch trailer for their upcoming installment in the Gears of War series, Gears of War 4. The trailer shows off the new cast, including JD Fenix, Del and Kait, who fight alongside Marcus Fenix along to the tunes of Metallica’s Nothing Else Matters as covered by Lissie. It also features some new enemy types and vehicles. The game also received some new screenshots which you can check out below.
