Platinum games has posted an artwork which seems to be a post, the artwork shows a 3D modeled The Wonderful 101 characters playing on Switch. It appears that they are playing The Wonderful 101 game. The Wonderful 101 is a Wii U game which was developed by Platinum games and published by Nintendo. Although no proper announcement has been made about the sequel yet. Platinum Games Teases “Shapeless, Formless” New IP

PlatinumGames, the studio who gave us games like Bayonetta and Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, has teased a new IP. According to DualShockers, the studio’s producer, Atsushi Inaba, said that PlatinumGames is working on a “formless, shapeless” IP, while addressing the audience at BitSummit in Japan. Though he didn’t provide any more details, he did mention that the game would be directed by someone new. At last year’s BitSummit, Inaba had said that PlatinumGames was thinking about making a new IP. Now it would seem like the studio is giving some structure to its plan. Platinum Games’ Official Statement Regarding Scalebound Cancellation

Much to the dismay of fans, Microsoft cancelled the upcoming Windows/Xbox One exclusive under development by Platinum Games, Scalebound. The devs have released their official statement regarding the whole issue, with creator Hideki Kamiya writing a personal apology to fans on Twitter. We’re sorry to say that on January 9, 2017, Microsoft Studios announced the cancellation of Scalebound. We are very disappointed things ended up this way, especially since we know many of our fans were looking forward to this game as much as we were.
