Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga + Bowser’s Minions announced for 3DS

Nintendo announced Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga + Bowser’s Minions for 3DS during its E3 2017 Treehouse live stream. It will launch on October 6. Here’s an overview of the game, via Nintendo: “In this renewed classic, Mario and Luigi journey to the Beanbean Kingdom with Bowser to restore Princess Peach’s voice. Control Mario and Luigi simultaneously, making use of their unique Bros. Moves to solve puzzles and emerge victorious in action-packed battles. E3 2017 Highlights: Nintendo Press Conference

The final press conference of E3 was arguably one of the best showings according to a lot of people, stating that Nintendo won E3 this year. Nintendo showed off games that they had announced while also announcing and teasing sequels.  So let’s get started with the highlights. Super Mario Odyssey SUPA MARIO IS BACK BABY! This game trailer had sooo much in such little time that I don’t even know where to begin. Mario can now possess people with his hat, such a huge variety of levels, exploring NYC while riding on a scooter or becoming a taxi, Bowser about to marry Peach, and what seems to be a Jazz soundtrack. Nintendo Switch Summer Trailer Released

Nintendo has released a new trailer for the upcoming summer showcasing the games that are going to come out soon for the Switch and it looks really promising. Pokémon Gold and Silver Coming to 3DS Virtual Console on September 22

The classic games Pokémon Gold and Pokémon Silver are back! The two games return as Virtual Console titles for systems in the Nintendo 3DS family on September 22, 2017. Pokémon Gold and Pokémon Silver were released in Japan on November 21, 1999, as the second set of titles in the Pokémon series. These games, which were the first titles in the Pokémon series to be designed for the Game Boy Color, will be recreated in their Virtual Console versions so their screens appear just as they did on the Game Boy Color. Players will be able to enjoy playing them just as they remember playing them in earlier days. Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon Announced for 3DS

Pokémon developers have officially announced the new Pokémon games titles Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon during Pokémon Direct. This game will be launching on the 3DS with rumours of a Switch release as well. It features the Alola region but is set in an alternate timeline with Mega Forms making a return. As someone who grew up playing video games, there’s an itch that no modern day game has been able to scratch. I’m talking about split screen couch co-op gaming. Breath Of the Wild Delayed, Won’t Be A Nintendo Switch Launch Title

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Nintendo’s biggest upcoming title has been pushed further back, and will miss the launch date for the Nintendo Switch. According to Eurogamer, a new report which details the game’s current state of development, and which tallies with information provided to them by sources close to Nintendo, “four-to-six months of testing will follow” before the game launches. Breath of the Wild was first announced in 2013 and was set to launch for the Wii U in 2015, but since then has been delayed multiple times. Super Mario Run Gets A Release Date, Price Revealed

Super Mario Run, Nintendo’s first game for the mobile platform finally has a release date. The game will be available for download starting 15th December on the iPhone and the iPad. You can download and play for free, but that will only be a small taste of the game. In order to get the all the content you’ll have to pay USD 9.99 via an in-app purchase. However, Nintendo claims that this will only be a one-time transaction, and players will not have to pay for anything else later. Super Mario Run will release simultaneously in 151 countries. While the game is exclusive for the iPhone and iPad for now, Nintendo says that it will be released for Android in 2017. You can check out the gameplay trailer below.
