Konami recently released the cinematic intro for Super Bomberman R and well…..it’s something. The intro looks like a dubbed weekend morning anime from the 90s, at least the English verison. Though the styling is accurate and does justice to the game, the dubbing and overall feel of it seems a little rushed. Considering the three-decade long legacy of the Bomberman Series, it is only fair to expect that Konami puts a little more effort into the cinematic reveal. Anyway, the story revolves around eight Bomberman brothers who live on the planet Bomber (imagine that), and have to save the universe from The Emperor. Tomorrow Corporation has announced that World of Goo, Little Inferno and Human Resource Machine will be available for the Nintendo Switch on launch day, making the list of launch games just a little bit longer. These games are already available on previous Nintendo consoles, but the Switch versions will have something extra. “All three games will come bundled with their full original soundtracks,” the website says. “Tomorrow Corporation’s intrepid interns have created a new Soundtrack Mode, where players can explore Kyle Gabler’s wonderfully bizarre music in this special mode, available only on Nintendo Switch.” World of Goo was first released on the Wii in 2008, while Little Inferno and Human Resource Machine were released for the Wii U in 2012 and 2015 respectively. Last week Nintendo revealed their upcoming console, the Nintendo Switch (previously known as the mysterious NX), and even though the trailer had a lot of razzle dazzle, there still a lot of detail that’s missing. According to a report by Eurogamer, a number of their sources who previously told them about the device’s design and detachable controllers have confirmed some more details about the console. The Nintendo Switch will supposedly have a 6.2 inch, 720p capacitive multi-touch screen. This model is in stark contrast to the 3DS and Wii U, which have resistive touchscreen which less precise and single-touch.
