Subway Surfers Comes To Mumbai

I know it’s been a while since Subway Surfers has received its latest update, but I happened to run the game the other day while I was on the metro and was surprised to see the update bring me to the streets of Mumbai. And for some reason I was really excited, you know like when you’re watching a movie or a serial and a reference to India or Indian culture is mentioned then you get that elated feeling right? Like when Tony Stark mentioned shawarma in the end of the Avengers movie, weren’t we all like “yaar kaal tho Kamla market mein shawarma khana hai.” But I just looked up the origin of shawarma and it isn’t Indian exactly but you get my drift.   Along with introducing new characters to the roster, the game has other visual amends that make it a &#...

I use the Delhi Metro to travel almost everyday to get to work and I spend most of the commute looking down at my phone. Whenever I do manage to get my eyes off my mobile phone screen I find almost every other person glued to their own phones. Its a big thing now this mobile gaming here in India. Its going to be huge, if already not. After having said that I am going to review one of the games that keeps a lot of the Indian population occupied– World Cricket Championship. This game is highly addictive as it caters to the needs of a hardcore gamer as well as of a casual gamer. I played the game on the iPad Mini, Moto G and Lumia 720. World Cricket Championship worked pretty seamlessly on all the devices. Its a fairly simple game to get a hang of. Everyone has heard of this celebrity, maybe a little too much. Kim Kardashian has now dipped into the realm of gaming with a newly released video game. The game could generate as much as $200 million this year through in-app purchases. That’s according to video game industry analyst Doug Creutz. “There’s no such thing as bad publicity, right?” Creutz said. “Obviously, Kim Kardashian’s brand has driven people to download the game. Some say it was just a matter of time, others quite taken a back when they saw this. But a new mod has brought the worlds of Flappy Bird and Grand Theft Auto together and the results are quite mind-blowing! YouTube user “taltigolt” published a video today highlighting the creation of modders “julionib” and “quechus13,” wherein the rules of Flappy Bird are applied to Grand Theft Auto IV. Watch the video and you’ll see GTA IV protagonist Niko Bellic wearing a Flappy Bird-style mask and flying through the world, earning points by hitting pedestrians on the head. Running into objects like telephone poles means you die, and your score starts back at zero. The original Flappy Bird–which was withdrawn from app stores worldwide by its creator this mo...
