Need for Speed, the new Ghost Games developed title, will have integral components that rely on an internet connection. Answering a fan inquiry on Twitter, the game’s official account said that the benefits of having an internet connection is “more variety and a more rewarding experience with friends.” Before later elaborating that being connected will “allow your friends to be part of your narrative experience, something only possible through connected play.” That comment is interesting when you look at the way Rivals handled it.
