We have seen quite a few trailers at Gamescom this year, but sadly none of them were in 4K. But all hope was not lost – for Gears of War released a new gameplay trailer, in glorious 4K resolution. Focusing on the mission titled “Rescue”, it features JD, Kait and Del chasing down an enemy who’s not known yet, through a battered, old fort. On their chase, they come across two fierce Swarm foes – Pouncers and Drones – for the first time. In addition to making us feel pathetically sorry for not owning a 4K monitor, the trailer goes to show the immense improvement in graphics since the days of the multiplayer beta. Gears of War 4 is scheduled to release worldwide on 11th October for the Xbox One and Windows 10.
