Gearbox Software president Randy Pitchford says that the game environment for of the upcoming Borderlands game, Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel, is supposedly bigger than the original game but is smaller than Borderlands 2. He said in an interview with PC Gamer – “We’re still getting a grasp on scope.” “It’s pretty big. I don’t think it’s going to be as big as Borderlands 2. Sony has finally confirmed the rumor that The Last of Us: Remastered is real. “SCEA can confirm The Last of Us Remastered is coming to PS4, and we’ll be sharing more details with you shortly.” This rumor initially started when a listing for The Last of Us: Remastered for PlayStation 4 was seen on Sony’s PlayStation Store. A new enemy now wanders the seas of the Nansha Strike map of Battlefield 4. And its not some little fin that is sticking out of the water or something. Its a prehistoric Megalondon shark and trust us, it does not disappoint. YouTuber JackFrags were the ones that made the insane discovery within a week’s release of the Naval Strike DLC, which introduced the Nansha Strike map. “When it happened for the first time I didn’t think it was real, like I had imagined it or something,” JackFrags stated on Twitter. Some leaked images from Kotaku suggest that this year’s Assassin’s Creed will be set in 18th century Paris. The Paris-set screenshots which were obtained from an anonymous source were of an ‘early-in-development’ version of the game. It features Notre Dame and the Seine river in the background. For now the game is dubbed Unity, though it is not clear if this is the actual title or just a codename. The word around is that this year’s Assassin’s Creed will take place during the French Revolution and feature a new protagonist named Arno. Call of Duty: Ghosts is offering up its recently released Onslaught DLC for free this weekend. However this free sample will only allows players on Microsoft consoles to explore 4 extra maps without having to shell out any cash for it. They’d obviously hope you do end up buying the pack eventually of course. Activision will release a trial version of the DLC as a download on Friday which is the 21st of March and will be playable up until the following Monday. It contains all four of the new maps– Fog, Bay View, Containment, and Ignition–and the Maverick dual assault rifle/sniper rifle.
