Get a free copy of Watchdogs PC with select NVIDIA cards

Nvidia have come out with a a pretty sweet deal which gets you a free copy of Ubisoft’s much-anticipated open-world game Watch Dogs for PC with the purchase of a qualifying GeForce GTX graphics card. However this offer is only valid for GeForce GTX 660, 660 Ti, 670, 680, 690, 760, 770, 780, 780 Ti, or Titan Black graphics cards. The offer begins today and is only around “for a limited time” through retailers like Amazon and NewEgg along with a few others. More information about this scheme can be found on Nvidia’s website. First Warcraft movie image out

In the latest issue of the famous Hollywood news magazine,  Empire, first ever images from the in-production Warcraft film at Legendary Pictures were featured. An image of Duncan Jones looking at two monitors is shown, which appear to give us a first look at the Stormwind throne room. Warcraft is only scheduled to come out in March 2016. It was initially set to come out on the 18th of December next year, but Blizzard delayed the film’s release after Disney announced that Star Wars: Episode VII would also arrive on December 18. “The Warcraft movie features an Orcs. vs. Humans plot and acclaimed Star Wars effects studio Industrial Light & Magic (ILM) is working on the film to help bring its CG scenes to life. Subway Surfers update takes you to Rome

There are a number of popular endless running games out there, one of which Subway Surfers, which happened to have a  big update in time for Easter. Players now can run through subways of Rome, and access a new local racer, Roberto. Another addition is the weekly egg hunts with unique rewards  plus new costumes for Zoe. To top things off, there’s a fresh series of Spray Can Awards for rising to particularly tricky challenges. Subway Surfers has had a wide range of new locales added to their roster recently, with new racers to go along with each release, and it’s great to get one more. Subway Surfers remains a hugely popular runner, and is worth a gander if you haven’t given it a shot already. How many of you guys play it? What’s your high score?

New trailer for Project Cars shows good promise

Slightly Mad Studios, makers of Need for Speed: Shift and World of Speed just released a new trailer for one of their upcoming games called Project Cars. The racing games is described by the studio as the  “most authentic, beautiful, and technically advanced racing game on the planet.” It is expected to come out this November for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC, Steam OS, and Wii U. What makes this trailer even more impressive is the fact that the trailer is made up of in-game footage, although Slightly Mad are not able to specify for some reason which platform the footage was captured on. Warface exits beta on Xbox 360 yesterday

The Xbox 360 version of the free to play multiplayer shooter from Crytek Kiev, Warface is now out of beta and is available to all Xbox Live Gold members announced Microsoft’s Larry Hryb announced today. Crytek launched Warface sometime in February in closed beta on Xbox 360. And opened up the beta in late March. Players of the open beta won’t need to re-download Warface; they’ll just have to update to the full version the next time they launch it. Warface was released on Windows PC last October in North America, Europe and Turkey. It is also available on PC in China, Korea and Russia. Source: Major Nelson

Dragon Age: Inquisition’s trailer initiate new story

A new trailer that has come out today seems to have set the stage for Dragon Age: Inquisition, which is expected to come our during the first week of October this year. Dragon Age: Inquisition starts with the events at a peace conference between the mages and templars. An upheaval breaks out and causes havoc on the initial plans, while causing the extinction of many members of the world’s ruling classes. “There’s an interesting undertone here of people in the world believing that you have been sent as a leader by the maker of the universe,” explained creative director Mike Laidlaw, in an interview with Polygon. “As a player, I have the option of saying, ‘Oh yeah, I’m the chosen one’ or asking what the hell they are talking about. Assassin’s Creed Unity to feature a four player co-op mode

Assassin’s Creed Unity, which is set to come out on the Xbox One and PS4 and PC sometime later this year is expected to include a cooperative mode for up to four players according to a report. This information was given by tweets sent out by former NeGAF poster shinobi602, who showed that two demos for Unity are planned for E3 in June. One of those demos is to portray the same single player mode while the other is going to bring light to a whole new four player co-op mode. However, no details regarding the latter have been shared except that its a separate narrative as opposed to a mode allowing players to tackle the single player campaign together. Watch Dogs sequel eBook picks up where game left off

(UPDATE) Ubisoft has announced that the Watch Dogs story-line will continue on in eBook novel called //n/Dark Clouds by John Shirley which also comes out on the 27th of May. Authored by John Shirley, the novel revives the story from the end of the game. “It’s a techno-thriller that follows Mick Wolfe, an an ex-military character who gets caught in Chicago’s hyper connected and violent underground. It will feature both new and known characters from Watch Dogs.” Shirley is an accredited writer with over 30 books and short stories credited to his name, which include some game, comic book, and movie novelizations. The Division dev think delaying Watch Dogs was a smart move

Primary studio in charge of the highly anticipated PS4 and Xbox One shooter The Division, Ubisoft studio has tagged the decision to delay the release of Watch Dogs to May 2014 as a “tremendously important” one. “It’s tremendously important for us as a developer studio, to know that the owner and the publisher are ready to take that hit, and [delaying Watch Dogs] ] was a massive hit.
