Game4u begins Pre-order for Xbox One
Game4u, India’s premium multichannel retailer of PC and video games, game consoles and related accessoriesand a part of Milestone Interactive Group, has started accepting pre-orders for Microsoft’s eight generation and highly anticipated gaming console, Xbox One. The console will be launched in two variants, Xbox One and Xbox One with Kinect. Pre-ordering the Xbox One will guarantee customers are shipped the console on launch. Xbox One standalone console is priced at Rs. 39,990 and Xbox One with Kinect is priced at Rs. 45,990. The Xbox One launch date in India is set for 23rd September 2014. The console will be available for purchase across Game4u retail outlets and www.game4u.com, the first and only retailer currently offering the pre-order.

Assassin’s Creed Unity Poster at E3 Portray 4 Characters
A huge ass Assassin’s Creed poster covers one of the walls of the Los Angeles Convention Center–the site of next week’s E3— and it shows what seems to us to be four different assassins. Talks are in motion of a Halo-branded headset from audio manufacturer Skullcandy – we better let you’ll know that this is just “talks” and nothing has been confirmed….well at least not yet. 343 Industries, Microsoft and Skullcandy revealed this week that the companies have come together for a multi-year deal that will hopefully result in new Halo-themed gear, which will include headsets and speaker tags. PC Specs for FIFA 15 revealed
EA Sports have just announced that the PC version of their hit title FIFA 15 will be powered by the Ignite Engine, which is the same technology used to power the Xbox One and Playstation 4 versions of the game along with other titles like EA Sports UFC, Madden NFL 15, and NHL 15. FIFA 15 becomes the first PC game ever to use the Ignite engine. According to a post on the EA Sports website, the PC version of FIFA 15 includes “all of the same core features” in the Xbox One and PS4 versions. EA will probably spill some beans on this during its E3 press conference on the 9th of June along with a trailer. Many saw this coming and they were right as Ubisoft worked out the numbers and announced that their latest title set a record for the best new franchise launch in history with 4 million in sell-through in week one. Dark Souls Free for Xbox Live Gold Members
Dark Souls is being offered as part of Xbox’s Games With Gold promotion, which is now celebrating its one-year anniversary by adding to the list an extra free Xbox 360 game to its usual allotment of two. The other games for June are Charlie Murder and Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition. Xbox Live Gold members now have the option of downloading Dark Souls (normally $20) for free until June 15. Then, on June 16, you’ll be able to download Charlie Murder (normally $10) and Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition (normally $30) for free. Bollywood movie blatantly copying Watch Dogs?
As much as we Indians don’t like to hear this, but its nothing shocking when we see Bollywood copying certain ideas, themes etc from the western world and incorporating it into their films. Its just that sometimes its done subtly and other times its not even made to look like an original idea. There are many debates and controversies when it comes to topics like this, but of late we’ve seen that a new Bollywood movie, 18.11 is quite evidently copying the Watch Dogs poster. The trailer above doesn’t really look like the game at all (I bet they wished it did!) but that whole idea of an “extraordinary software,” can’t help but bring that notion of hacking which is quite central to Watch Dogs’ theme.
