GAMETRAILERS is Back as EASYALLIES

Once upon a time, there was a fantastic crew that worked under the banner of GameTrailers. Unfortunately, their journey came to an end this year as the crew disbanded. Fans were heartbroken. Viewers were disheartened. The world became a bleak, dark place. For those who don’t know, GameTrailers was a video gaming website owned by Defy Media. The website specialized in multimedia content, including trailers and gameplay footage of upcoming and recently-released video games, as well as an array of original video content focusing on video games, including reviews, countdown shows, and other web series. The content quality was impeccable, and offered something new every time you went to see their website. Hence, it was harrowing for the fans to watch the GT crew disappear. But there is go...

NX Wasn’t Revealed At E3 Due To Fear Of Imitators

In a recent tweet, Shigeru Miyamoto, Creative Fellow at Nintendo said that they would’ve revealed information about the upcoming Nintendo NX at this year’s E3, but they were worried that imitators might copy it. Since the very beginning, Nintendo has had a reputation of being innovative when it comes to both hardware and software. They introduced the original analog thumbstick and the rumblepak, gave us motion gaming and 3D gaming that does not require 3D glasses. And if the rumors are to be believed, the NX will be nothing short of a game changer. Miyamoto may have a point. When Nintendo released the N-64 with an analog thumbstick and rumble pak, it was soon followed by  Playstation and Sega Dreamcast controllers that came with thumbsticks on their controllers with rumble pak....

Before Battlefield 1, There Was COD: Roman Wars

Everyone is excited about Battlefield 1 taking the players to the trenches of World War I, while COD: Infinite Warfare is getting bashed for putting the players in space battles. But what if we told you, that there existed a COD project that was supposed to be set in Ancient Rome? That’s right. According to GamesRadar, about eight years ago, Activision almost considered a pitch where Call of Duty would’ve taken place in ancient Rome. The story would’ve followed the story of a soldier in Julius Caesar’s trustworthy tenth legion, with first person sword combat, war elephants and even a playable Julius Caesar himself.  As we know, The COD franchise is known for one thing; guns, guns and even more guns. So hearing about this might come as a surprise. However, the tremen...

This Guy Finished Dark Souls 3 Without Getting Hit (SAY WHAT?)

When the name Dark Souls pops up, so does the phrase “You died”. Some may say they’re synonymous. For most of us, Dark Souls is mostly about running away from enemies, getting bashed and dying countless times (and repeat). The game is well known for stripping players of both their dignity and willpower, as they finish it with a small shred of hope that has kept them going. However, there are some who say “bring it on”. Twitch streamer FaraazKhan (or as we like to call him, the chosen one), finished Dark Souls 3 in under three hours without dying, nay, even getting hit even one time. Sounds unbelievable, doesn’t it? Like a total badass, he chose to go for a purely melee combat, so no magic or arrows to help take the enemies down from a distance. He does c...

Unplayable at Best: Homefront – The Revolution Quick Review (PS4)

Stutters, FPS drops, downright hanging – these are some of the best words that describe Homefront – The Revolution. Not to mention that the story is a drag as well. Don’t get me wrong, it has a novel approach towards first person shooters, but it fails to deliver at every step of the way. Homefront is about defending post-invasion America occupied by North Korean forces. In an alternate timeline, North Korea is the world’s biggest superpower, providing the US with all sorts of technological innovations. However, these come with a back door and one fine day, North Korea decides to shut all of it down, rendering the US defenseless. Cut to present day, where you play as Ethan Brady, a member of a resistance group rebelling against the KPA forces in the city of Philadel...
