Sleeping Dogs was one of the most ambitious games of the last generation which put us in the shoes of a cop who went undercover to uncover the dirty secrets of the underworld in Hong Kong. Sleeping Dogs 2 was supposed to be an even more ambitious title with a living and breathing open world. Canadian-based game developer United Front Games went out of business in October of 2017. Sleeping Dogs 2 would have picked up exactly where the first one left off as the protagonist would be accompanied by a corrupt partner in the streets of Pearl River Megacity, which is a real place. PayDay 2 for Switch Launches February 23
Starbreeze Studios and OVERKILL – A Starbreeze Studio just announced the release dates for the hugely successful cooperative first-person shooter PayDay 2 for the Nintendo Switch system. PayDay 2 is set to release on February 23rd in Europe and Australia and February 27th in North and South America. Game developers Jam City have announced that next year they’ll be releasing a story-driven mobile narrative role-playing game, in which players can attend our favourite wizarding school as a student. It’s called Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery and it’s the first mobile game in which players can create their own character and experience life as a student. Team Signify, with their updated roster, has a cause for celebrations and a well-deserved applaud. The team has qualified for 2 international events in 2 subsequent days and are playing in the finals of a national level tournament this week. The team faced 48 grueling hours, starting 7th December playing in the WESG and the Predator League regional qualifiers. The WESG qualifier semi-finals ended at 1.30 am and since the next opponents were based out of Laos, where it was already early morning, the finals were decided to be held on the next day.
