Activision is going out on a limb her by making a rather large bet on Destiny. And according to one analyst the game is likely to pay off something around 10-15 million copies which roughly translates into $600 to $900 million. Other games that have done well in this regard are Nintendo’s Mario Kart Wii, which has sold more than 45.5 million copies till date and of course Rockstar’s Grand Theft Auto has, mind you shipped, not sold 33 million copies till date. A report by Cowen and Company analyst Doug Creutz mentioned that Destiny could become the best-selling game of 2014.
