Reliance Games Studio Visit Pune
As most of you know, we traveled to Pune last week to attend Reliance Game’s Game Hack. As I’ve said before this is an interesting initiative by Reliance Games to encourage indie mobile game developers by providing them with the opportunity to showcase their game to a much larger audience and to gain recognition as a developer. An Indie Game of The Day award of Rupees 10,000 was given to one of the developers, while the runner up received Rupees 5,000. A panel chat was also held where in reputed names like Matt Powers, Patrice Crespy, Sundeep Shetty and Anuj Tandon were giving their insights and knowledge on topics that young developers had. Game Hack Goes To Pune
Hey Guys, I just got back from our trip to Pune where I, along with Shrey attended Game Hack. It really is an interesting initiative taken on by Reliance Games to promote and encourage indie game developers across the country. Events like this give great exposure to indie developers who are trying to find their way in the industry. All developers took part in the “Indie Game of The Day” where in they all showcased their games to a few judges and the winner took home Rs. 10,000 and the runner up got Rs. 5,000. The Indian games market has vast potential, both in terms of the domestic consumer market and development talent, and publisher Reliance Games believe they may have the key to unlock it. We were at the launch of this one of a kind initiative in Bangalore on Friday 19th December.
