Microsoft’s Major Nelson announced the awesome games that Xbox Live Gold subscribers will be able to download for free to their Xbox 360 or Xbox One (or both) during the month of October. Starting October 1, Xbox 360 players will get Battlefield: Bad Company 2, EA’s somewhat more class-based approach to the Battlefield series. Generally speaking, it’s a highly acclaimed game. Then, on October 16, 360 users will be able to download Darksiders II, and action RPG that could appeal to anybody who loves the Zelda series but wishes it was darker. It, too, was mostly a critical success and is well worth the free download. Xbox One users will be getting only one free game this month: Chariot. It’s an ID@Xbox game (Microsoft’s push to attract indie developers to their platform) that focuses on couc...
In case you’ve spent all your allowance, and just by some chance happen to own an Xbox, you’re in luck cause Microsoft is giving out good games for this coming month’s games with gold. Monaco: What’s Yours Is Mine (1st-15th September) A very simple game with a brilliant top-down mixture of stealth and puzzling portrayed on vintage heist cinema. You can choose from a variety of classes with varied abilities. As you can see from the trailer, each character has their own forte. This game is well thought through and is even more commendable for being the work of just one man! Halo: Reach (16th-30th September) The 2010 FPS developed by Bungie and published by Microsoft, makes its way into the Games with Gold September Edition. Players control Noble Six, a ...
As August is nearing its end, Xbox owners are now starting to wonder what games Microsoft will offer for its Games with Gold members for the month of September. This might be just some sort of weird coincidence but it has been observed that Games with Gold list predictions posted on Xbox community forums often turn into reality. Like in July, Crimson Dragon for Xbox One and Dishonored for Xbox 360 did come out. Will predictions for September’s list turn out to be true? GameFaqs is a largely popular gaming community and is a platform that gamers usually consult with when anything gaming comes up. One of its users, named SNAKE0062, said in his September list predictions that “Battlefield 4 and Peggle 2” would come out if “Microsoft isn’t cheap.” “But...
Here’s some good news for gamers who own the Disney Infinity Starter Pack for the Wii. If you happen to be one of those gamers then you can download the game for Wii U exclusively through the console’s eShop, for no charge whatsoever. “Disney Infinity launched one year ago, and in that time the number of Wii U players has significantly expanded,” Vice President and General Manager of developer Avalanche Software John Blackburn said in a press release. “Given our commitment to compatibility for our players, we wanted existing Wii owners to be able to experience the Wii U version of the first game for free. With the upcoming launch of the 2.0 Edition of Disney Infinity we want all Nintendo players to experience the game’s Wii U functionality.” Disney...
Another good weekend for gamers, especially for those that don’t want to spend anything for it. Just a while back only Borderlands 2 was free on Valve’s Steam platform. And if you’re more like an assassin sort of guy then you are in luck my friend as Dishonored is free to play all weekend long. Well at least for the most part of it– from now until 1pm Pacific, you can download Dishonored on Steam and play the crap out of the game because it truly is an amazing game. The level of detail in this game is fantastic compiled with the multiple ways you can solve challenges—unlike most stealth based games, in this you can turn into a complete mad man and just go bat shit crazy killing people. You can probably finish the game over the weekend but its more fun if you take yo...
