Inspired by Pokémon GO, Sony to “Aggressively” Enter Mobile Gaming

Seems like someone has been keen on picking up stuff from Nintendo and Niantec’s recent tactics. After the blaring success of Pokémon GO, Sony Chief Executive Kaz Hirai has said that Sony will will be aggressively entering the mobile market. In an interview with the Financial Times, Hiraz said, “Mobile gaming is something we are aggressively getting into. It’s quite a shift from being just a console-based business to being on mobile phones as well.” Stating his reasons as well, he says, “Pokémon Go is a real game-changer. PlayStation Games Coming To Mobile?

Ever wanted to experience PlayStation games on your mobile? Well you might be able to do that soon thanks to Sony who are now establishing a new division called FowardWorks. This new division will be focusing on bringing original full- fledged PlayStation titles to iOS and Android. ForwardWork activities will be focused overall on users who are staying in Japan and Asia. It’ll be led by Atsushi Morita, SCE’s top executive in Asia, and SCE Group CEO Andrew House is one of the division’s directors.
