Microsoft dominated the floor with their show today, announcing not only games for Xbox One, but also for the Hololens and Windows 10. A healthy mix of not only new games, but also new features for the Xbox One was announced at the show. The most surprising and welcome of these announcements was Backwards Compatibility with Xbox 360 games. It works not only with titles on the XBL Marketplace, but also with retail discs. The release date for Forza Motorsport 6 has now been confirmed for holiday 2015, Microsoft executive Aaron Greenberg has confirmed. We expected a release this fall since the Xbox One game was announced in January, but this time Microsoft has actually announced when the game is to come out. Greenberg mentioned the release window as part of the latest Inner Circle podcast. Other Xbox One exclusives scheduled for this holiday release from Microsoft include Rise of the Tomb Raider, Fable Legends, Halo 5: Guardians and Quantum Break.
