During the Direct livestream, Nintendo announced that they will bring their tactical RPG series Fire Emblem to smartphones with Fire Emblem Heroes. Playing as a summoner, you can “call upon Fire Emblem heroes throughout history,” including those from Fire Emblem: The Binding Blade, Fire Emblem Awakening and Fire Emblem Fates. The turn-based battles will take place in an 8 x 6 grid, designed to fit on smartphones.
