EA SPORTS captured Gareth Bale’s free kick technique via motion capture and this will feature in FIFA 14. Bale was also filmed performing a series of athletic drills, passes and shots to capture his likeness and to showcase features such as FIFA 14’s Pure Shot, which allows for new and rewarding ways to score.

FIFA ’14 Cover Updated

EA Sports have updated their the box are for the upcoming edition of FIFA. Football sensations Lionel Messi and Gareth Bale are the two stars to feature on the cover, the only change being the appearance of a Real Madrid jersey on the cover. Bale was initially depicted in his previous club, Tottenham Hotspur’s jersey. But on the day of the transfer deadline Spurs sealed the deal with Real Madrid which in turn made Bale the most expensive player in football history. This change means that there will be two Spanish clubs on the cover. EA reveal new free-to-play FIFA World for PC

EA Sports have announced a new free to play FIFA World for PC. As of now, this edition is to be released in Brazil and Russia later this year. The game is being developed by EA Canada for two countries that do not own a console. This game will be based on the FIFA Ultimate Team mode from the main FIFA games. FIFA World will feature 30 officially licensed leagues and 600 clubs, including the Russian Premier League and 19 Brazillian clubs. EA Sports claims that this game can run on “average spec” but will require a broadband internet connection however. “Brazil and Russia are priority markets for EA Sports and especially our FIFA brand. PES 14 and FIFA 14 coming out on same day in the Americas

Konami has confirmed the release date of its game Pro Evolution Soccer 14 on the 24th of September in North, South, and Central America, which is also the day that FIFA 14 is released. However we do not know when Konami plans to reveal its dates for Europe, whereas EA Sports has already booked the 27th of September. PES 14 is going to be available in the Xbox and PS3 and this edition is powered by Kojima Productions’ Fox Engine, which is said to boost the authenticity of the game’s in-game mechanics like collision detection and player models.
