No Man’s Sky To Take You 5 Billion Years To Explore

Creators of  No Man’s Sky weren’t fooling around when they revealed that every aspect of their massive space exploration game was procedurally generated. To add to that, cofounder of Hello Games Sean Murray said that the total number of planets generated makes visiting them all virtually impossible–unless you can continuously respawn for 5 billion years. In an interview with IGN, Murray revealed that the team had been using a 32-bit number to help code for every planet in the in-game universe. This created a total that would take around 5,000 years to see in its entirety, but they seems unhappy with this level of depth and detail–so decided to make it a 64-bit set up. Grand Theft Auto V on Steam promises great enhancements

Grand Theft Auto V has appeared on Steam, boasting of a number of enhancements to the game as well as an all-new video editor. Grand Theft Auto V appeared on Steam today, a few days after Rockstar finally confirmed that it will in fact be released for the PC. According to the description, the game “will take full advantage of the power of PC to deliver across-the-board enhancements including increased resolution and graphical detail, denser traffic, greater draw distances, upgraded AI, new wildlife, and advanced weather and damage effects for the ultimate open world experience.” It will also come with a video editor “designed for advanced movie-making,” just like the PC version of its predecessor, Grand Theft Auto IV. Battlefield Hardline coming this fall

This morning EA and Visceral Games confirmed their next project –Battlefield Hardline.  The game launches this fall and it’s a brand new series in the Battlefield franchise, set against the backdrop of a genre we all love – the war on crime and the battle between cops and criminals. There’s been a lot of buzz today about Battlefield Hardline which will be showcased for E3 this year.  They’re adding new twists and turns to the foundation of Battlefield multiplayer and we should expect a strong single player campaign since Visceral is on board.
