Daymare: 1998, is a third person horror survival game, set in the 90’s a fact visually expressed aesthetically throughout the environment. In Daymare: 1998, an incident or something has turned the your town into a dead zone, and all its citizens into mutated creatures. As you weave your way through this horrifying nightmare your town and it’s people have become to find the truth, your ability at stealth and all out combat is tested.  While the game sets itself in the 90’s it does so without really bringing in new experiences for the player to take from the game. Daymare: 1998, an indie horror survival game inspired by Resident Evil has gotten a brand new trailer, shortly before the start of its Kickstarter campaign. In addition to offering a feel of the game’s eerie and mysterious setting, it also features creepy voices and flashes of enemies. Take a look at the trailer below: Before this, developer Invader Studios was working on a fan remake of Resident Evil 2, which was scrapped on a request by Capcom. The noteworthy thing here is that Resident Evil 2 was released in 1998, a number that has a great influence on Daymare, being included in the title as well.
